Remove Silver Tarnish

Step 1

Put the plug in your kitchen sink, then line with aluminum foil. Lay the tarnished silver pieces on top of the foil.

Step 2

Pour in 1 gallon of boiling water, 1 cup of baking soda and a dash of salt. Let sit for 15 minutes. The tarnish should transfer from the silver to the foil.

Step 3

Remove silver pieces from water and dry with a Streak-Free Mirror Cloth
